Thanks Biggles ... can't believe that I started this back in 2006.

Nice to see it is alive and kicking again.

Left Harties with the BMW 1200LT at 14h00 today. Booked in at Aldam (near Winburg, FS) 16h30. Tomorrow morning to Bloem for a meeting and then heading slowly ## direction Knysna. Need to catch a house-boat on Wednesday 8)

Made The Gem of the Karoo after a late start out of Bloem. Then hit the stop-and-goes with the road-works. Had some fun. Won't elaborate on the 191 km/h speed trap (yet).

In Wilderness tonight. Most horrific northerly cross-winds through the Karoo between Willowmore and Uniondale.
Bike was all over the show and even "slap chips" did not work. My armpies was maar sat hier in Outeniqua pas.
Most amazing high altitude wave clouds formed with the interaction of bergwind conditions and the coastal air over the Swart- and Outeniqua mountains.
This must a be a triker's paradise (if the wind allows it). Poor 737 and Embraer drivers must have been busy out of George today.

Enjoying a Grolsch (^^) outside Amsterdam and taking pics of lovely aircraft out of Schipol. Temps are 18 to 28 degrees and had sunshine for a week now vhpy . Sun sets at 22h00 and only gets real dark at 24h00  . Hate to think the "Big Smoke" is waiting for us next week when back in Gauteng
