Had a nice (and bumpy on the way back at 11h00) flip to Misverstand Dam this morning. See above log - even though I enjoy going through the trip afterwards in compiling the log files I was wondering whether it is only me and a couple of regulars looking at these logs - to continue?

Don't let the fear of falling keep you from knowing the joy of flight.

Could not stand sitting around waiting for the wind to subside. Heard a C152 and (I think) a Gyro in the air at 07h00 on 25-12-2005

Have a look at my deadstick videoclip on www.zu-dve.com (done that the other day)

What sound track? I do not use soundtrack music since it would infringe copyrights. Therefore the music you hear in the background must be coming from somewhere else. When I play the clip I sometimes hear the neigbour's son playing James Blunt's No Bravery. Strange thing that.

Funny thing happened,

Accidently logged onto Limewire.com, searched James Blunt, by accident pressed download and now by accident and for my own use have lots more.

After days (and nights) of continuous wind, at least a calm day but since Franchoek has had severe veldfires for past three days, there is a cloud of smog rising from the valley, and blowing towards Blouberg. So not really the ideal weather to show off Cape Town. Nevertheless, as always, feel much better after being in the air for a couple of hours.

Jaaaa - that will teach you. Rotax engines are known to have a mind of their own - they only give hassles when you least want them to!
