Really Awesome Aviation Service Authority (RAASA)

Postby RV4ker (RIP) » Fri Sep 25, 2009 5:08 pm

Been "spooking" with CAA to get Bush baby on my license since 2007. (Aparently I ferried one from CT in 2007 "illegally" eventhough it is endorsed in my log book, I have the convex papers etc...    . Long story). Even gone as far as to try to redo the convex, but can't find instructor and taillie BB in Jhb easily. Me the instructor or the plane just can't seem to arrive at same place.....

Fast forward a couple years and enter the FLIGHT READY Animal. Now I really 'NEED' the rating. Tried CAA again and again answer was NOPE - Instructor is A grade and not PPL so can't add to your PPL and MPL been taken over RAASA (Original convex doc's were dated 2007 which was another problem). Friendly CAA Lady suggested I Try RAASA direct, so off to see Willen and Co at Rand. R200 and something bucks and 1h15mins later I had the orange book with said endorsements =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> . AM NOW LEGAL TO GO WRESTLE BOET FOR THE KEYS, although he is convinced I am going to break the clockworks

Awesome guys KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Am so looking forward to my next RAASA ATF renewal.... Wish I could fly the RV on the LSA/RPL/NPL     eeerrr the Orange book license..... (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)

When I was having a SERIOUS problem, that just could not get sorted, Pierre came to Cape Town, to help, and straighten thing out, and he got it sorted.
How's that for service
Cudos, to Willem and Pierre and all at RAASA

Well done to all at RAASA for delivering on their promises.

I recall their first visit to Morningstar here in Cape Town which was met with considerable negativity. The general consensus was to give them a chance to prove themselves and a rather skeptical audience heard them out.

I recall saying that anything would be an improvement on the existing service which was non-existent at CAA at the time.

HOORAY that they came through for the few of us that were positive.

Well done to RAASA and congratulations on all the compliments received.
You can rely on our on-going support.
