I had one of those "dream like" flight on Sunday, the air was a smooth as glass with patches of ground fog and some high clouds filtering the sun. The world below was still mostly asleep while I passed above them taking in the wonders of the world. Hours after the flight I was still in the clouds vhpy

Rudix, those photos are serenity at best, and Highflyer's "early bird" photo is a winner. Cold air, two-stroke smoke ... ah, what else is the desire of man's heart ?

ZU-XAF at Petit. It now has a Jabi motor fitted.

Wow, great shot Bearcat !

ZU-XAF is a special plane to me, I learned to fly in it !

Here it is after and engine out landing in a farmers field, hooking it up to tow it back to the field. I am sure the Jabiru engine is a better option that the Rattax that failed on me vhpy

Apparently it now cruises faster...climbs better ... and is smoother vhpy
I dont recall the number ... but I know I was quite shocked at how slow it was before the engine change :shock:

ZU-XAF looked like it was going to make a close inspection of the bean crop ... however the situation was corrected in time vhpy
