Re: Rotortec Clouddancer finally being shipped

Hi Len, Thanks for your response. Funny that you talk about floatplanes. What a coincidence, I got a US PPL floatplane license as well. So I can totally adjust to your point of view. We have the choice to change to the 4 blade configuration. (They are currently flying the mandatory test hours). We w...

Rotortec Clouddancer finally being shipped

Finally the birds are leaving the nest to fly. Rotortec is shipping out (since January )the first bulk to their long waiting customers. Due to all the new innovations packed in this new design, it took longer than expected. German certification requires very low noise levels (< 65 decibel) and high ...

Re: RAASA Experience? Good or Bad?

Being foreign and having experience with three different aviation organizations located on three different continents, does make you a little bit confident to judge certain procedures and organizations. In terms of personal service and willingness to deal with unusual requirements, I would consider ...

Re: nosewheel repairs on bushbaby

Go to Petit or contact Stefan (http://saplanes.co.za/) about the nosewheel problem or better let him make the plane descent again and let him give you the taildragger (http://fun2fly.co.za/) training. (!!)

@bullseye: It is too much trial and error to get a accepted format. I just upload the picture to a hoster like flickr. In Flickr I use the BBC code function and take the code snippet, cut out the code relevant code (between the tags "[img"): Example: " "https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7278/1367399250...

Re: Simon takes to the air - The journey begins...

Nice video and nice landing (^^) (^^) What camera did you use to take the video and how did you hook it up to FSE :?: Action Pro. It is comparable to the gopros and uses the same mounts. I bought it two years ago and it has an integrated remote control which is very handy to switch it on and off wh...
