Re: New Runway at Kokoriba
Yes, I flew over it again last week and you certainly have to be very alert for the two opposing circuits, both of which could potentially be active. Depending on the wind direction, any combination of the two runways could be in use. Personally, I feel that to have two runways for different lodges ...

Flying Wingboard undergoes wind tunnel testing!
What do you think of this invention? Looks fun, but I somehow don't think it will be that simple to learn, or master . . . if it ever becomes legal! ## Read about it HERE: Successful wind tunnel testing brings flying wakeboard closer to takeoff If you've ever peered out across the wing from a plane ...

Hi Gavin, I cannot read the repack date from the photo.

Thanks, John

Re: Flying helmet wanted
Thanks John. Wich ones do you have? They look quite nice so i might go this route too. I bit the bullet and got two of the carbon fibre finish version of the Omega 2. Sheer luxury compared to anything else available. http://icaro2000.com/Products/Helmets/Omega/Omega.htm Let me say again, they are f...

Re: Prop - 582 Pusher
Hi Deon,
I have a refurbed Peter de Necker wooden PProp for a 582 pusher.
Now like new, with refurb work done by Peter de Necker himself.
Stainless steel leading edge protectors.
Still in bubble wrap after the refurb.
PM me if interested.

New Runway at Kokoriba
This looks really cool! A new runway (07/25 and 1,500m - estimated) under construction at Kokoriba, at almost right angles to the existing runway (14/32). It looks as if you could do a few touch-and-goes along the length of it. Kokoriba - New Runway.jpg Kokoriba - New Runway GE.jpg If you are unsure...

That is great news, John.
You certainly have my support.
It is my sincere hope that the megalomaniac who continues to plague the MISASA committee decides to take a long slow walk into the sunset!

As an ordinary member these days I was disappointed by that e mail... I do not believe given the responsibility of communicating with the Membership gives you Carte Blanche to say and do as you please? Video showing the Danger of Rotor Wash
Fellow pilots! There are times at fly-ins and air shows where you may be landing or taking off after a helicopter. Flying a microlight makes you particularly susceptible to ROTOR WASH from a helicopter, and ones far smaller than the UH-60 Blackhawk in this video! ## ## Full Article and Video HERE . ...
