Hi Grostek
I fly a Magni M22 (http://www.magnigyro.it/inglese/voyager.htm)
Two-up plus luggage at 90 mph we burn around 22 liter/hour.
With a total of 82 liter, we can fly safely for three hours plus reserve.
Less mass and less speed reduces fuel consumption drastically.

Hi Guys Faster or not faster is not the issue, but if you are a potential owner it is somthing to keep your investigation interesting until you decide. Endurance is more important, but: with a bit of planning and speaking to Johan Meyer who knows a lot of Gyro pilots all over RSA, fuel is always ava...

I spoke to the Sycamore guys at the AGM over the weekend, and you are right, watch this space. They are so enthusiastic what they are currently doing! They find old unused Sycamores, upgrade with latest rotor and other things and you can pick them up for +-R300k. Lot less than any new Gyro and I thi...

Guys we have to support Johan and his commitee and we need get togethers like this. You missed ot on a great weekend with the best flying I have had. We had such ...

Xenon Gyro
I had a very pleasant surprise on Tuesday. Went to see Mr Braam Hechter of Microflight and he treated me to a short demo in the Xenon Gyro. The weather as perfect as can be so I cannot comment on any turbulence, wind etc. Let me state that I was never asked to write this "review" Braam was PIC and t...

Gyro Training
I completed my training at 303 Squadron at FABB, where you have access to three excellent instructors and a Magni M16 that they allow you to fly solo with (if you do not own a Gyro) or buy a single control M22 (useless for training, nice aircraft). See the link http://www.303squadron.com (I even saw...
