Some people suggest that it has been used for smugling but who knows?. Pilot's from Moz tells me that this is a Karibu. Can anyo...

To true. Be carefull, sometimes the wing becomes so clean that you hardly feel the neutral position and easy to stall if the experience is lacking. Happened to me once when I thought I knew it all and nearly saw my arse. Moved the hangpoint full foreward. Not one hole at a time. BIG mistake. Always ...

DH Let me know if and when you fixed it. There are big technical explanations on how to tune the wing. Hope I said it straight enough.

Sounds like you have increased the turn to the right. Hope this helps. Lets work on the right wing first. Easy way to remember is that if you turn the trailing edge of the wing down(towards mother earth) the wind hitting from the front will push the tip up and the wing will roll to the left. You say...

Usually after 100hr's plus you could tighten the sail more. It will improve your glide and the wing will definately be more responsive in the roll. Lighter controls. Up to a certain point the tighter the sail the better. The wing is more effective and you will have less drag. Better fuel consumption...

FUEL FILTERS

Looks like the fuel filter tread has dissapeared. I used the Z29/68 GUD merc replacement filters on my aircraft for some time now. Thought the range was discontinued and send a mail to GUD SA and this was their reply: Dear Mr Coetzee, Many Thanks for your enquiry. The Z29/68 is now called a BC68 and...

Was also searching my fingers off for it. I wrote to GUD SA in connection with their MB replacement Z29/68. They responded today with good news. They still manufacture the MB replacement they just call it a BC 68 and it's available from most Autozone shops. They also state that it was not intended f...
