The most natural form of asperin is found in the bark of the Salix genus (willow trees) mostly so in Salix alba (white willow). So if you are in pain and not near medication take willow bark, drop it in boiling water, leave to cool and have a pain relieving sip, with no side effects (^^)

Did you know that the word "carat" which measures the value of diamonds is derived from Carob......yes that replacement for chocolate ## In ages gone by Carob was used as a means to trade with and was made up in given measures ( this is the pod/ bean of the tree Ceratonia siliqua)
