Aparently the pressure drop causes the valve to close and then loose rpm. I don't quite agree with this. I had a similar problem once. After scratching around for a while and wasting loads of time, I swapped the probes around and suddenly I had a hot cylinder on the other side! Could have saved myself a lot of time had I checked the probes first
