Re: PPL and or MPL training on a microlight registered 3 axi
Reviving an old thread from 2007...... Has the powers to be resolved this issue yet or is the process still the same as explained above as I am getting mixed messages in this regard? I have purchased a Savannah VG to be flown on my LSA license and I want my kids who both have PPL licences to do some...

Re: RAASA Experience? Good or Bad?
Agree with Nacho. Why pay to have the new printout done when the Instructor has already endorced your log-book?? Whether done annually or bi-annually doesn't make sense.

I need to do a change of ownership for a light sport plane at CAA and would at the same time prefer to get my ATF from CAA, ie. I would like to do both in one go instead of first doing the change of owneship at CAA and then trekking off to RAASA for the ATF. I know the AP inspection form differs bet...

Re: Radio noise at high rpm...
Did the following over the weekend: 1) Charged the radio with the supplied charger. Will do this more often 2) Removed the intercom system and cleaned all the electrical connections 3) Removed and cleaned the sparkplug caps, ie. unscrewed the caps from the lead wires, cleaned the insides and screwed...

Re: Radio noise at high rpm...
Paul, The 210 does have the ANL option and is always selected. I normally set the squelch on the radio between 6 and 8.We have a radio tower close to the airfield which causes interferance hance the high setting. I will check all the suggestions made thus far over the weekend and hopefully one will ...

Vernon,
Thanks for the headsup. It is a pity that all these small strips are going to ruins. It was nice going theren when it was maintained.....
Luckily there are numerous beaches around the same are that are smooth, long and and are 'maintained' on a daily basis by the waves.......

Ek het met my trike 'n paar keer saam met Dawie, Johan en ander Kroon pilots daar geland so julle 'ho...

Re: Radio noise at high rpm...
Nicow Thanks for the advise but, I replaced the plugs less than 5 hours ago at 200 hours. However, during this time I replaced all the rubber grommets on the lead wires as well. Maybe there is a bad connection on one of the leads. I will check over the weekend. This is why I like this forum so much....
