Re: Tornado at Contermanskloof

Just a seriously hollow feeling in the gut looking at those photos. Really feel for you. So sorry to see your planes in this state. Words cannot say what the feeling is. So sorry :(

Does anybody have experience or know of anybody flying a single seater Sorrel hiperlite biplane. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Demon Nope definitely not a Bantam, seems like the guy knows the area the way he flew down the gorge in misty conditions heading towards Hoedspruit. Just wondered if I could rope him in to fly surveys for us when in the area again if he is local. The plane looked like a Kitfox. High wing two seat...

Hey Smiley Had serious withdrawal symptoms watching you guys go past. The last guy was fairly low flying along the Ohrigstad/ Hoedspruit road on the Ohrigstad side of the tunnel. Did you land at Hoedspruit? Can see the photos now  Just had to give them time to load. Anybody know who the red ae...

Rudi

Thanks again for the DVD and the manual :D Although the DVD is very nice to watch my wife gets a bit awkward with me when I work on my engine on the lounge floor. With the hard copy I can now take it out to the garage.

Hi Leprachaun

Thanks for the offer. I was a sent a copy by Alex Rudd which I found very useful. Our terrain here is difficult although there are places to fly that are safer to land in but those are not usually the places I like to fly over as I am involved in wildlife  This is the reason I fly.
