Yip, do not use LRP, lots of dirty additives there, just use the normal unleaded dinojuice whit superior 2-Stroke oil of your choice.

Flight Duration
Hi All
Is it normal for the hobbs meter to take time and add to Flight Duration when motor is idling? This is on my Aquilla 582 Bluetop. I was once told that it should only read the time above 2000rpm. Is this correct?

Re: MTO Sport Gyro Insurance
No, they were very vague on that one. But what I could figure was replacement parts being expensive, not sure if it was incident related as well. They also don't do Xenon anymore. Have spoken to the local manufacturer/importer and he can't understand it either. I think there might be a sollution, ju...

MTO Sport Gyro Insurance
Anyone had any luck trying to insure one of these? Apparently insurance is no more available for this specific type. It was stopped about 2/3 weeks ago. Please pm me.

Re: Acceleration problems on 582?
Hi Piet, have you had a look at the jets, maybe something stuck there, all I can think of after all the trouble you went through. When idling fine, but as soon as the feul surges through, it blocs the jet.

Thanks Justin, is it just loose wiring or is something broken then? Not that mechanical minded as I wished.

Mag reading zero
Hi All,
I have a Aquilla 582 Blue top, digital instruments. Started her up, tested the mags. The Mags both work independently like they should, but on the one mag no reading, just 0000RPM (still running smoothly). Any suggestions?

Re: Cleaning the aluminium on your trike
Hi Asterix, I use a handcleaner to "polish" the whole trike. The cleaner is PH neutral. It has lanolin oils in it. It leaves all plastics, tubing and even the prop looking as good as new. Just smear on and rub a bit where neaded and whipe clean, I use cloth baby dypers. Just make sure that the handc...
