Re: SAGPA AGM & NORTH / SOUTH 2014

Its lashing down in Cape Town at the moment, hmm, maybe we can follow the cold-front going up. You guys may have to come through it… 8) Right now we are marking time. Flynote, we went wine-tasting yesterday… selected the very best reds that the Constantia valley has to offer … We'll get them there s...

Re: Gyro Hard Landing - Morningstar

We'll be in Carnarvon.
Fortunately we have a spare machine (for exactly these circumstances - come to think of it, so not fortunately - foreplanning… lol)

See you there!

Gyro Hard Landing - Morningstar

Before the rumour mills start, I had a hard landing with one of my training Gyro's at Morningstar this morning at 0935Z. My student and I were busy with Excercise 14, emergencies. We had completed simulated engine failures throughout the circuit in previous lessons and he had just been briefed on EF...

Re: FUEL - DIESEL - OIL

Good post, thanks.
A wise AP once told me an engine cannot make oil so if you end up with more than you started BEWARE, unburned fuel or oil is making its way into your oil.
Situation abnormal. Passop.

Vatso. Its not as if the person in question has not had enough opportunity to defend himself. ?? He chose not to, but rather to perpetrate his business model, of which I am a recent living witness. Kak daarmee, its no good for our sport. Sorry. Thanks Mods, well done. You took an active step...

Choke Choke, Start Start, kom ons gan almal Carnarvon toe en as julle twyfel sal die ou grysbaarde soos ek (en Flynote) julle graag bystaan en help waar ons kan. Onthou, 'n lang cross-country is net 'n klomp kort vlugte aanme...

What is also evident is that online-trawled adverts are re-advertised elsewhere as if they were in-stock when in fact the seller is not even aware of the agent. So in support of what you said above Learjet, its Caveat venditor, (let the seller beware) also! Modern day snake-oil salesman it seems. ##...

=D* =D* =D...

Re: SAGPA AGM & NORTH / SOUTH 2014

Ai, what has become of the 'GEES' that used to exist amongst Gyro fanatics around the country? I recall Gariep with almost 80 Gyro's a few years back - now the best we can do is 18? Why is this when our sport is growing all the time? Well, we'll be a gaggle of Gyro's coming up from Cape Town to visi...

Re: Trikes along the Big Bay Beach (Cape Town)

I am one of the morons and d%%^s that flies low over this stretch of beach often. Sometimes a few times a day. It is NOT illegal. Klaar. This has been debated to death elsewhere before and Morph covered the key point on a previous page. UNLESS! No aircraft shall be flown at a height less than 500 fe...
