I may add that the reason the vee rabbit performs is the fact that it actually doesnt need a ground plane at all. In your application, you may as well use a knitting needle if no ground plane is attached, the plate should be at least the size of half the length of the whip itself. Not getting techni...

Saw a unit today, the perfect tool for a PPG pilot, they are Bluetooth, that allows a radio to be placed in a back pack, no wires to connect to the headset or helmet. No Grumpy, i am not missing sleep i am in China..I dont see any benefits for trike pilots. But hows a solar powered electric blanket..
