Suggest that you contact Rainbow in Springs, since they offer these as standard option for Cobra.

Bennie, For starters I would check that my battens are still correctly shaped. Get a batten chart, and ensure that all are within spec. Then I would trim the wing for hands-off straight flight. Turn the wing tip caps small bits at a time (1mm), and test fligh after each adjustment in good weather. B...

Yes, mine also has the very nice pads and can rotate. I bought mine from Aviation Engines 4 years ago. I think the two are exact same thing. The one from the sportflyshop is just potographed with the imap insertion flap folded back.

That's a German development by a company named XXStyle. They used to have a website www.xxstyle.com, but it is closed now. If I recall correctly, they claimed a cruise of 140km/hr

jabiru

Thanks guys. You confirmed it. Nothing wrong with the Jabiru. And its such a simple and clean installation.

What is the situation with Mogas vs Avgas on the Jabiru? Are there anyone out there that runs on Mogas?

Jabiru

Hi Guys,

I am planning to fit Jabiru 85 hp in my Whisper kit. I have been cautioned about the Jabiru's reliability by a number of persons, but I am of opinion that these warnings are mainly based upon hear-say.

I would appreciate any views/advice from owners on the issue.

Thanks

Altimeter QNH

Hi Guys,

Recently I notice that when setting my altimeter before take-off, the indicated QNH is much higher than expected (typicall > 1035).

Other than this the altimeter seems to function ok. Any advice?

IMHO it comes down to personal preference. The well known SA trikes are all reliable and sturdy machines. You fly with what you are comfortable. I have had Windlass, Aquilla and Cobra. My experience: The Aquilla offers more comfortable seating than the Windlass, but flying characteristics are very m...

Radio License

Thanks Demon. Same here. I sold a plane in 2001, and so far could not get them to stop sending me the annual bill. Have given up trying, and also stopped paying.

I know of one in a Whisper with fuel injection conversion. Their fuel economy is great.
