Lets see what happens closer to the time.

Re: runway for gyro

I take off from a steep runway each time. One way in , one way out   Fly the rotor. - as long as you manage your rotor vs the wind - no problem. I was warned that a gyro "might" accelerate to quick down hill and cause all kinds of rotor management problem. I countered the risk by lifti...

Re: Prop strikes from runway debris; tractor v pusher

It seems as if it's not the main wheels that throw up most of the stuff, but rather the nose wheel.
A guard/cover on just the nose-wheel , made a huge difference.

Re: Aircraft part strippers

Re: SsangYong Lexus V8 conversion...

I prefer diesels. ( operational requirements, and grew up with diesels  ) But I must agree, the change from a inline 6 to a V8 ( still diesel) seriously affect the way you pull away at a stop street or robot. ) It just happens !! 8) The installation looks nice and clean - enjoy. That Ssa...

Re: New Engine.

The slim oke's are going to say 100 000 toyota engines produced vs 1000 rotax engines .

Less engines to recover in-efficiency in production on.

Personally I just think aviation is considered a captured market - en nou word ons deur die ore gen....i!

I paid for a five year licence, only received a 12 month licence.
High and behold - last week I received my new 12 month licence ( 2014-2015) without ANY action from my side .

At least somebody there is trying.

Aside from the bare engine, what are the other requirements, and what do thy cost. Either directly from Aviation Engines, or reputable after market parts, if availa...
