Re: Xenon Gyro

At the Tedderfield show, I visited Flynote at his hangar. Like always, makes everyone very welcome and I can say that the person who will purchase his Xenon will have an awesome machine. I was standing with Butch when Len did his M24 dance. I said to Butch that there is no need to do any further adv...

It is about time that gyro pilots recognize the microlight fraternity as a fantastic group of friends. In fact there is so much ego in the gyros that I dropped a longtime ago gyro only fly-ins. Well done Bonzai !

Re: Artur Trendak -illegal producer Zen1 in serious trouble.

Pieter, Welcome ! Thanks for your thoughts and I am 100% with you. From now on, let's not waste time on this subject. What you should be concerned about is support if you need it at any stage, like spares etc... The Xenon or your machine for that matter is a very simple machine and there is nothing ...

Learjet, the mods have been very kind to him. They removed a paragraph related to the picture but left the picture. I must admit that I was quite nasty.

Re: Artur Trendak -illegal producer Zen1 in serious trouble.

This is exactly what I said. You AND Artur might have had the right to manufacture the Xenon, but JP Doleac remains the original designer of the Xenon. In fact he still has the original moulds. When are you going to do business the normal way ? Provide a good service against the heavy fees that we p...

Re: Artur Trendak -illegal producer Zen1 in serious trouble.

Something that very few people know is that Raphael Cellier has not designed the Xenon. The real designer is Jean-Pierre Doleac, the designer of the original Aircopter rotors than even the MTs started from. Auto Gyro then redesigned them under their own brand name. I have spoken quite a few times wi...

Re: Tips and tricks!?

When the weather is bad, go to the airport with your toolbox and go through every bolt and nut there is. It is worth every min it takes you...... Let's go back to the subject at hand. We are not talking about major mod or overhaul here. When the weather bad, how easy is it to get quickly an AP to h...

Re: Tips and tricks!?

JJ and Len, I assume that you were present at the last SAGPA AGM. I advocate that the owner should be allowed to do anything he wants on his machine. I also feel that a gyro pilot is someone, by the fact he is a pilot, is not an imbecile who does not have common sense and should judge himself if he ...

I agree 100 % but -xX the powers at the last SAGPA meeting said -xX Even if you build your own gyro, you are not allowed to tighten that bolt ^ I would...

Re: The Rotortec Clouddancer project

2.2m is the same as the Xenon. With tyre width and chassis clearance, you cannot fit it in the max 2.4m allowed on the road. It will have to stay above.

Re: The Rotortec Clouddancer project

Now that makes sense ! Doubling them that way makes the whole thing more rigid for transportation, and also shorter in total length. When I had a Magni, I designed a trailer with a quick attachment for the rotors as I did not want to remove them and it allowed me to transport the gyro at 130kph+ wit...

Re: The Rotortec Clouddancer project

okflyer, apologies for mis-interpreting your comments, I thought that you were a SA resident who is becoming an agent for this lovely machine. However, to justify your purchase, you do not have any right to run down any other gyro, could be Magni, Xenon or MT without having been the owner of such ma...

Re: The Rotortec Clouddancer project

It is very obvious that okflyer has a commercial interest in this gyro and there is nothing wrong with that. Where he is stepping on dangerous grounds is that he does not have much experience in gyros in general and simply repeating the sales pitch of the "head-office". We have had many "comparisons...
