AP course?

Does anyone know how to get an AP licence or where to do an AP course?

There are at least four of us who want to do our ratings.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Which engine???

Hi Trikenut, I only saw this post today... We are the agents for the HKS700E. We decided to take over the South African HKS agency because we were extremely happy with our engine (which we flew in the 2007 World Microlight Championships, and came 2nd in our class. Robert Gassmann also flew with an H...

Re: ***Brand Spanking New Air Creation Tanarg***

The advantages of the Tanarg: - Larger speed range (Stalls slower then most trikes, and can cruise with the GT450s.) - Newer technology, - More comfortable, - More attractive, - Has won the world microlight championships twice in a row (GT450 3rd behind raptor in 2nd :) ), - Same price. The GT450 is...

Re: A matter of urgency

My 2 cents... If Ranger had been wearing a helmet, he probably would've walked away from his crash without injuries (as Morph said) - Luckily he is recovering, but it could've gone the other way. I know of at least 2 accidents where the guys walked away with minor injuries because the helmets saved ...

Re: Microlight competition flying

Good advice from Loneranger! The only thing I can add, is don't get dispondent if you don't get placed in the top 5 in your first comp. Many people are too 'proud' to return after a 'bad' result. You must remember that everyone started somewhere, and like Robert says - practice makes perfect. Aim fo...

Re: Density Altitude

Just a thought... Density altitude calculations usually deal with the loss of air density (in South Africa at least, as our climate is generally warmer than ISA standard atmosphere), as a result of temerature and pressure changes (T +, P-), against ISA conditions. Bear in mind that on a cold winter ...

The Tanarg is an absolutely awesome aircraft! It is the trike that everyone wanted (including me!), when they watched them perform in the World Champs (France 2005, and Czech 2007). Dieselfan - why do you say that it is not so tough? I've seen these aircraft slammed into the landing decks many times...

Hi All. Sorry about the late response. I've been offline due to internet problems, and just got them sorted out now. My father (Roy) and I, are the new HKS agent in SA. We fitted the HKS to our raptor trike, and flew in the 2007 World Microlight Champs, where we were placed 2nd in the dual seater ca...
