Asterix, try motorgliders, especially the SF25 Motorfalke. Not expensive to run and great fun.

Re: Building the new Cubby Renegade
The Cubby Maverick frame is done welded, we finished painting the frame today. Next week we will start the Renegade and Maverick builds alongside each other, and take "time lapse" photos as we progress.

Re: Selling composite propellers
We decided to expand the production of wooden propellers and reduce the waiting time for an individual order to 2-3 weeks. Vladimir, tell me honestly, how does your wooden 2 blade prop compare to the 3 blade ground adjust for take off and cruise performance on a R0tax 912 ULS. Lets say it is in a R...

Sadly the problem with the truth about many things in our "modern" era, is that the truth is as unwelcome as a hobo at a dinner party.

Re: AIRCRAFT FASTENERS - WHAT IS ACCEPTABLE??
Ok let us try and give a practical answer. Not all 8.8 bolts are equal. Get en engineering grade 8.8 bolt. with a rolled thread, not a cut thread. Reason being a cut thread removes material from the bolt`s structure, where a rolled thread displaces material to create the thread. Remember that any "m...

Re: Building the new Cubby Renegade
Here are some photos to show what exactly we have been up to with this Renegade frame. Basically it is a couple of ergonomic changes to improve pilot comfort. The two "test dummies" are both over 6 foot tall. Joos, the burly one in the front seat is 6ft 2, and Pierre the more slender one in the rear...
