Re: SKYRIDERS Marathon (3000nm) fly-away 8 - 20 May 2018

Hi, if anyone is serious about this let's start to look deeper, first of all the dates 8 to 20 surly not ? 8 May is a Tuesday ? Saturday 5th May 2018 is a Saturday 20th May Sunday this would give you theoretically 16 Days of flying requiring 2 weeks leave . The 2 of us did this trip a few years ago...

Re: THE MICROLAND THREAD..."Home of the Tailwinds"

Sadly...I think we'll have to concede that this is like flogging a dead horse? Microlighters has become a piece of flying history I'm afraid...it's become pointless to try and save it.. ($$) I learnt a hell of a lot.... (!!) It took me through my training, answered a lot of my questions and ...

Yeah, you will get a proper workout, but flying thermals can also be interesting  I am sure if there are a couple of trikes and you call Jacque...

Hi Guys,

EasyPlan lists the runway length as 540m.
The first post lists it as 900m, but later the length reverts to 540m.

Can someone provide some clarity?
The runway is pretty long or should I say long enough for any sports cruiser and gyro...nice and smooth as well ##
