Look carefully at the aluminium, if it was cut with a blade you will see the scratch marks on the metal.

I think 4400 is both sides, i.e. 2200 each side. Speak to KFA at the Bushbaby factory and get the right stuff. You need to know that this stuff will not fail underneath you on your landings, so don't experiment.

If it is connected to the starter then it is the Solenoid, i.e. the relay for the starter. Effectively you use a light current, i.e. a thin wire from the starter switch to enable the solenoid. Beautiful, And now for the compulsory safety briefing. On water this still, your reference point when looking down is your shadow, which is twice the distance from you to the surface of the water. This could catch you out. Look for low spanned cables across the river as well. Otherwise, fly and enjoy
