Should've rather chosen to fly to Witbank this morning. Absolute still, unbelievable. Felt like being suspended from a top hook. "Check ma, no hands". :D Smoothest flight I've ever had. P.s. Perhaps, flying without a fairing has an obvious advantage - instant air flow allows for inmediate clothes dr...

I had a puncture repaired by the local tyre guys who deal mostly with underground mining machines. After patching, He pumped some slime gunk in the tyre and guarenteed me that I would never have another puncture again. This stuff is applied to all tyre application underground, giving at the least, e...

Grumpy old grizzly bear, guts is turning- gippo guts, quats down for a relief. Cute litte white bunny comes skipping by. 'Hi bear, mind if I join you?' Bear just grunts, bunny quats alongside and starts intstituting small chat. Bear interupts with 'Don't you also suffer from the same problem?' "No, ...

Topic been covered quite alot. My opinion is if you can afford it, get one.

It certainly won't de- value your trike.

It' like a safety belt -if the thought worries me, I always slip it on.

Hi Agent, I agree, Far too quiet. I guess maybe, most 'participators' are still absorbed or recovering from the weekend fly-ins. Also, the loss seems to make all else so trivial. What ever is posted, has high viewer ratings, but maybe when the okes are back at work  I think everyone should ...

I found little info books available when I started.

Rather search the manufacturer / supplier web pages from this forum.

Better still, contact your nearest instructor and arrange a test flight. You'll gain more info from that. Then buy the books that the training school uses for theory.

I went through the same insurance queeries and learned the obvious; Generic broker is out of his depth, do not leave it up to him as the 'pro'. Every queery I had took a week to extract effective answers. His queery to the principal, on your behalf, will be advised by someone who knows even less. Th...

Anyone using the "air Magic' intercom system from Durban? Had a very positive response from my inquiry. Lighter helmets, visor can't flap open in flight, has 'bib' reducing noise and that's without noise reduction filtering. Pity, can't or reluctant to modify Buzzcom system. Price certainly enticing.

Did'nt know whether you were refering to my stupidity  or age :) (1980 BMW 100RT) Try again - full face helmet, sliding visor and chin part (no straps) with built in mike & speaker - microlight helmet (weight) kiddies size or small. My kid arked nicely whether he should have to share the pax h...

Anyone had success with the full face helmets with built - in helmets?

I'd really like a BMW bike - type, where the chin part swivels with the visor and locks into place, ellininating straps.

Can't find the thread with a previous mention.

Comfort, costs?

Thanks

Just enjoyed a great flip today 10h00 till 11h00. Had a pax taking promo photos. Little bumpy, swirling, but no one else in the air. Total silence, frequently checking if the radio was on. Must be the bliks stranded with no fuel. :) Watched cloud formation building, within 15 minutes of landing had ...

Well if you suffer from typical withdrawel symptoms then there has to be an addiction. :!: Now corporate business allows for staff to go stand outside in the cold and rain to smoke ( noticed all the 'voicemails) If a few would grab the desk and simulate the final 'flair'( sounds would not be neccisa...

=D*  Now I know you're not a real doc. Most self respecting GP would take the colsultation fee, prescribe an anti biotic and reward with 3 days sick (fly) leave. You could even have brought altitude into play and sent me off the the Wild Coast jol. :D Ps. I'm also the boss, but then why m...

Doktor Bennie, I seem to be suffering from unknown disorder. My sulk  starts when I wake up in the morning and the weather looks like death. It's not that I can't mow the lawn in the rain. It's when I check a break in the clouds and wind. I start being extra nice to the wife and ask her how her...
