I have a license for air and the 29mhz radio and will be getting my Marine vhf license this weakened so its legal. With regards to our conversation is it possible to have one radio that can broadcast on the Marine frequency and only listen in on the Aircraft Frequency? Like the VHF 250 Hand held only a base radio with speaker?

Hi Paul Thanks for the reply and the advise.The Marine frequency is between 156.0 Mhz. and 174.0 Mhz .The requirements at this stage and as far as i know is the radio itself ,antenna and then the larger frequency range.
