Wishing you many happy and safe hours in you M16! I trained with Rainier's blue ZU DJW at Springs, and they are the most forgiving gyro's you will ever find, a truly happy gyro

Re: Low flying over Sanparks
Sorry and just for the record, I believe if anyone knows Martin Engelbrecht, Bruce and Elsa, I suggest they get contacted and post a written apology to Johan!

Re: Low flying over Sanparks
Len, I know this is probably not the right place for a post like this, but in the interest of continuity and for my own growth (and I am sure lots of other Gyro Pilots), what would be the typical indication and counter measure in the 2 x situations as described above: 1. Loss of a rudder - what will...

FATA to FYOP
Good Evening All, I am hoping for some help. As a very fresh Gyro Guy, having never ventured further from my homebase than Witbank to the east and Zeerust to the west, I am involved in a venture in the faraway village of Opuwo, Namibia and I want to do a gyro flight there and back. My plan is to do ...

Zeerust Airfield
Morning fellow Microlighters, I need to meet someone in Zeerust tomorrow (Thursday) morning and thought that a nice flight from FATA to FAZR will be great before a long weekend. Can anyone please tell me what the status of the runway is and of course the general rules for the airfield like joining e...

Re: NORTH / SOUTH 2013
I am in for Carnavon, whether I could afford KBB or not. I am new to this so I dont really know how things work yet, having never been on a flyaway like this, but really did not take to the costs nor the agro, pushy explanations of the costs. We all can imagine the costs of shlepping heaps of food, ...

Re: Flying foreign registered aircraft in SA
Goodmorning, SARS will require the following: 1. Use a reputable Import/Export Agent. 2. Provide them with a letter explaining what you will be doing, include the value of the ML. Rather underestimate than overestimate the value; 3. Tell them how long you will be here. Add a bit just in case you ove...

Re: Klip innie bos
Thanks Marius, I will study the chart...very comprehensive! I must say, pax=85, me=110, 70 lt fuel gives me 560 kg and the density alt chart works to a T. Also I find my Gyro to be unbelieveable well balanced, with the trim setting on about 50 % straight and level is comfortable. Thanks for the tran...

Morn Len & Marius, This is where I get really excited, when the experienced Aviators start giving Air Polution like me your special tips! Len your chart seems to be 1 that is for a tandem, can it be used for a side by side, or do you need to adapt it in some way? Marius can we have more info on the ...

Re: Landing fees ...
As a Gyro Owner/Pilot it is maybe not my place to comment here as it seems most of the posts here comes from Trike Pilots, but what really gets my BP sky-high are Aviators like Blue Max that always moans, but never contributes towards a solution. Your anomaly with "jou Ma baar jou verniet" really do...
