Re: Tailwheels to Nylstroom, 27 and/or 28 Nov '10

It's going to be great! And turning into a bigger and bigger informal get together for breakfast and tailwheels than estimated. Well done Stefan, your original plan (^^) Jammer JvTonder, miskien moet jy iemand anders se BB leen wat dalk nie kan kom nie, anders moet jy jou stertwiel afhaal en dan per...

Re: DC6 at Goose's strip

Have a look on AVCOM. Goose posted pictures and it seems like a useable runway now. Goose, please keep us posted. How soft is it? Can airies with narrow tyres get in and out? Is your old runway still visable and perhaps better for microlights?

Re: Flying a Bushbaby with the doors off

What does the open door do to the fuel consumption? Does the open door create more drag? Is it advisable to fly with door open for long distances?

Owias it is much nicer and cooler

Tailwheels to Nylstroom, 27 and/or 28 Nov '10

Open invitation to all pilots with tail-wheel aircraft (and pilots who know what a tail-wheel looks like, and even if their aircraft has a nose-wheel or skids) to an unofficial, no frills just fun get together fly-in at Nylstroom. Let's see how many tailwheels can make it. If the weather is not good...

Re: How many Taildragger pilots and planes?

Groblersdal klink na 'n baie goeie keuse, dan kan die pilots van die ooste hulleself oor die eskarp sleep soos die weste se pilots moes doen na CC se partie.

Noem 'n datum en ons sal ons bes doen om die Cub te bring.

This system works the same as the BRS, is about half the cost and servicing is much cheaper. It comes from Eastern Europe somewhere if I am not mistaken. Perhaps the agent ...
