Re: Over-flights Swaziland
That route will take you through the new Sikhupe Intl. CTR, so make sure you call Matsapha well in advance and be prepared to route around it.

Re: Rotax 532 powered KR2
Henni, if the fuselage is stretched , widened, bigger wingspan etc, then of course it is a different story and I cannot really comment as I only have experience in the normal KR. It worked out OK for me because I am of average build and my wife is very light and short. Our combined weight was only 1...

Re: Rotax 532 powered KR2
Henni,
as far as I am aware neither of the two active KR pilots, Willie or Carlton is flying two up. It can be done..... I did so, even with the Revmaster installed but it wasnt ideal, its very tight and it just flies so much better when its lighter.

Re: VW engines what prop
Revmaster had lots of problems with that CSU metal prop setup and canned it completely. If its direct drive stick to a wooden prop.JeanTree wrote:Revmaster can take wood/composite/metal props....even an oil -controlled constant speed prop

Re: RAASA closing early
You can not close a lisencing office over the festive season except for the public holidays, It's not a mine or a factory. I do not agree with this, Unless they make sure that NO lisence or ATF expires over the period that the office is closed. Agreed, I drove all the way from Swaziland yesterday t...

Re: Raven + Jabiru 2200 or 3300?
Guys this is driving me crazy, accepting that I can't afford a 912s, if you were spending my money, not yours, which would you choose Jab 2200 or 3300 and why? I would consider increasing the displacement of my VW. The rule of thumb on determining HP on a VW is to take displacement in cc eg 2400 an...

Re: Who believes the moon landing was a HOAX?
Did you guys see the footage on TV Sunday evening on Carte Blanche, when they showed the Zambian guy that started with his own space program, just after the first moon landing. It was hilarious. While they interviewed him, the 10 chosen ones - future space cadettes - was busy with their training in...
