Re: UP and GOING
That machine looks amazing, I note the fibreglass seating. Are those springs on the flying wires? Can you post some specs for this type of trike? In the mean time enjoy it.

Practice Engine outs Trikes
I haven't flown for 2 months & decided to spend some time in the curcuit on Sunday morning. Couple of practice landings etc alls fine. Making my calls I climbed to 900ft AGl over the middle of the runway, simulated engine out (have not done one of those for + 2 years) with the motor on idle. (Have n...

Trikes at Durban Airshow
I taped the Durban Airshow (SS5 on DSTV) this weekend. Brilliant to see the feature on the trikes, nice one Ray & the snake team. It was interesting that the guys are flying windlass's with rotax engines!! Someone should drag Brian Emmenis through to one of our microlight clubs and further educate t...

Re: New Circuit procedures for Morning Star
I have just read through the "Chirp" publication no 40. There is a discussion on airfields with these dual circuits and joining finals where there are blikkies & microlights. Also of interest is the gyro rotor wash discussion.

Microlighting traditions (100 hours due soon)
I am probably opening myself up for some inventive thinking - but here goes. I have heard that skydivers dive nude for the 100th jump (man that sounds all wrong/right but you know what I mean). Are there any other traditions out there? What do Trikers do? How do you christen the new trike, solo, 100...

Re: Who believes the moon landing was a HOAX?
All this waka waka. We need facts so this weekend I went there on Saturday before breakfast, and its true, I saw the footprint myself. Arnulf is right but I see the moon is also flat, that’s why you can’t see it at night because you are looking at the edge, like the edge if a thin frizbee. When I fe...

Bank Account fraud - Cell phone notifications.
I am having a lot of unusual activity on my cellphone, double debits on the bank accounts etc. Its a mission to sort out but easier to pick up with this SMS notifications facility. Then it occured to me I show my cell number on all my E mails, any docs I fill out, in fact the whole world knows my ce...
