HEADSETS FOR SALE
I have 2 TELEX passive Noise Reduction headsets for sale; both sets are like new and are still in their bag, complete with manuals. Due to not being used I noted that the cushions needed replacement so I have just replaced the head cushions on 1 set..... the other set needs new cushions. If interest...

Re: MISASA Western Cape Fly-In Mossel Bay 2016
My mail to all pilots in KZN, an invitation to join us on a flight to Mossel Bay from the greater Durban area. Mail me and I will forward to you the documents alluded to hereunder. For those with EasyPlan, this is my work to date. I am absolutely sure that this could have a few mistakes. When comple...

Re: Flying the transkei coast
A good way to "get on the map" is always to organise a "Breakfast Run". Give us plenty notice and, as it gets closer to the time, make sure the weather is good and we will be there. 1hr 40 for the lads at about 75 knots.
Sounds like a good trip and a great breakfast run.
Cheers,

Re: Proposed A.D.M. Training Discussion
I too fully and absolutely support the Alan initiative. To those that do not want to be involved, I remember a letter sent to me by a girl in Estcourt High when we were writing matric... The more you learn, the more you forget; the more you forget, the less you know; the less you know, the less you ...

Re: Proposed A.D.M. Training Discussion
How can training, of any sort, provided positive and well-constructed, not be a good idea. Alan, good stuff. While on the issue of furthering skills, you chaps may remember a short while back a PAX, (I think in the USA), had his pilot rendered unable to fly while in the air, (I think the pilot passe...

Re: Misasa Chairman 2013 Resigns
Hello all and thank you for the opportunity to get my thoughts in order. The accusations brought against the MISASA Committee are serious and certainly are deserving of a considered and carefully researched response. As you may recall, on this forum, I asked that the unsatisfactory discussion of all...

Re: Misasa Chairman 2013 Resigns
Folks, if we can please calm down and allow me to give thought to the issues under discussion. It seems that personalities are getting in the way of the process required to address the issues at hand. I undertook to come back to you before the end of February and this I will do. I choose not to beco...

Re: MISASA Special General Meeting 6 Dec 7pm: LIVE RIGHT HER
To those that do not aree with the system used, I have a few comments: 1. MISASA took a vote 2 years ago that the electronic media may be used as an official manner of communication 2. The MISASA website holds the responsability for conveying the electronic message to all members of MISASA, as does ...

Re: AEROCLUB SA NON-DELIVERY
The reason for the lapse is given to be that they are seeking better value from the quoted cost of cover. This is a good thing but do you allow the membership to be exposed to the level of risk for the duration that this has been allowed to lapse? Please do have your say. The management are nothing ...

Re: AEROCLUB SA NON-DELIVERY
I would like to keep this short and focus upon the core of our discontent. You as a microlighter enjoy a sport that has risk. As a responsible person you need to afford your family comfort in the unlikely event of an accident. This is what insurance is about. Your plane must have an authority to fly...
