I think it is Air force day today.

Right at the end of the beach there is the Sunset beach bar,they have speakers there,tuned into the ATC ,while you are sitting there you listen to the pilots talking to the ATC, not to mention the rule of "Topless ladies drink for free" :) When they hear a "heavy" on approach they rush to the beach ...

This is what we do for fun in St Maarten :) If you look closely to the tail-end of that KLM 747 you will notice people hanging on the fence behind it waiting for the take off ,those engines give you such a blast.....I have to ad...you do that only once :shock: The heat and the little pebbles hitting...

Are there any good Gyro training facilities in SA who will actually respond to any of my questions?? I want to find out what its like to fly in one of those before I make any decisions, but no one I tried to contact has come back to me yet.
