Boet, verduidelik asseblief ?
Ek dink daar is baie van ons wanabee armgatte wat nie die verhouding van static thrust en static revs verstaan nie, beteken 'n goeie static rev nie net dat jy die regte ratverhouding en prop het nie ? I.E. rendement.

I don't see check valves on those pumps, will it not return through the non working pump when you do run into a pump failure ?

Question, why do you need a gearbox ? Surely you nhave enough power for a direct drive ?

And I am curious to know the weight of the original exhaust manufold, you must have gained a lot there .

Suddenly I find myself sitting upright and listening, welcome to the Explorer club. We will follow this development with keen interest. (^^) (^^) I have also been toying with the idea of fitting an alternative engine to my own Safari, I am more leaning to the diesel route but any engine above 120hp...
